When high school Chinese teacher Ma Yin Bo's son Ma Mo supposedly commits suicide by falling from a building, Ma Yin Bo ghostwrites a suicide note so his son can save face. Inadvertently, the well-written note makes Ma Mo famous overnight. Using his son's name, Ma Yin Bo pursues his dream of working in the literary world, publishing works and winning awards. His son's sudden reappearance complicates matters.
