MBOCINEMAS

Inspired by actual rituals of sacrifice that date back to the 13th century, Jerunei tells the story of Dr. Sani and a team that goes in search of his wife, who goes missing during an expedition to study a particular Jerunei (Totem Pole). As they comb through the jungle for answers, each member experiences unusual occurrences of hallucination, sickness and some even find themselves waking up in strange places. Things take a turn for the worse when the body of one of them is taken over by a spirit that was sacrificed at a Jerunei.
